Storage Card Woes

I have had my Qtek 8310 for about 3 months now with little to no problems, until about a week ago. I auto-reboot it every night at 3AM. Last week when I looked at it in the morning all the programs that I had installed on the 1G storage card were gone. At least they were not being read by the phone. I stuck the card in my card reader and everything was still there. I stick it back in the phone, no luck. When I open File Explorer I find that the Storage Card folder is still there with nothing in it and I have a new Storage Card2 folder that has all my programs in it. But, of course, the phone can't read it because all the file paths are to the Storage Card. So I reinstall all the programs, but the only choice for installation is Storage Card2, so that's where they went...until the next morning. Then I have a Storage Card3 and the same scenario all over again. Can anybody give me a clue as to what's going on? Is it just Microsoft's way of telling me it's time for a hard reset? I'm up to Storage Card4 and it's getting old.....fast!

It's a known bug with the way files are saved and accessed on the storage card, for example if you have changed the storage path for your IE cache to the storage card is a known problem mixed with low battery power can cause this as to happen.

Remove your storage card and soft reset your device then delete the virtual card and reinset the storage card.

Sometimes it can be a pain and different methods appear to work in resolving this. Some people have even resorted in doing a hard reset, as you have tried to reinstall applications etc again you may need to do the hard reset option.
