Guest f3nd3r Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 (edited) Basically i have been using activesync over BT for a while now but yesterday it suddenly stopped working. I've tried re-pairing the connection with the PC. Uninstalled the Belkin software and went to using the XP SP2 BT stack but still no luck. What happens is when my phone lists the available services it doesnt show Activesync as the service but instead 'Serial port'. Both COM ports are set the same in AS and BT settings on the PC, but it just wont show Activesync as the service. Can anyone help? Guest Rob.P Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 This won't help you much but this has happened to me a couple of times now, currently suffering from it now though on both my work pc and home one. Unfortunately I have no tried and tested way or getting to work again, it's usually potluck, a good following wind and some maiden scarifices sometimes work. In all seriousness though, the maiden scarifices don't do a lot in helping it but it soothes my frustration at how flaky bluetooth still is and can be.
