Guest davidjp Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 I'm looking at getting the XDA Orbit when it comes out on O2, but I'm 'umming' and 'ahhing at the moment. I've got an XDA Mini S at the mo, and I've got so used to the slide out keyboard that I'm being put off the Orbit because it doesn't have one. How easy is to input text and stuff on the Orbit? Or should I just hang fire until O2 get something like the E-TEN Glofish M700? Another factor is that I've recently stumped up for a 2gb Mini SD card for the Mini S, and would rather not have to buy another one.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 I think it's very unlikely O2 will get the M700, and that's microSD anyhow. What are your criteria for a device? P
Guest davidjp Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Pretty much what my Mini S has. Which is why I'm beginning to think about keeping it. I'd probably be prepared to sacrifice the Mini SD card for a Micro SD, it's just the keyboard issue. I'm unsure as to how easy it is to input text. I've had the usual issues with the stylus on the Mini S, so would like a system that isn't reliant on haveing a stylus.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 What about the HTC Herald P4350? It's a slim Wizard with an improved keyboard, AKU3 etc. etc. P
Guest davidjp Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Hmmmm, tempting. I'll be keeping an eye out for that. Cheers
