Guest chucky.egg Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 I'm looking for a new device for my main phone, which will need to double as a laptop modem so I'm interested in 3G now. I'm looking for... 1. Smartphone not PPC 2. 3G / HSDPA 3. Bluetooth 4. WM5 Direct Push Responsiveness is important WiFi if possible, but not really important miniUSB would be preferable to freaky connectors SD, miniSD, microSD are all fine SIM free is fine, but I'm on T-Mobile so all the better if it's one of their handsets (none of theirs that I've seen seem to fit though) I like the look of the i607 and the Q, but as long as it's not a brick I'm not overly fussy. What options do I have?

Guest cclboss Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 You could consider the Cingular Blackjack (Samsung i607) but unfortunately, if you, like me, are from outside the US then it is truly 3G since it is only dual band UTMS (850/1900) and lacks 2100 Mhz. Although it is quadband GSM and has HSDPA for 3G. Very nice form factor.....could be the perfect phone if it was triband UMTS.
