HELP FOR SPV c550

ive had the spv c550 for about a year and recently ive experianced a new problem. apparantly i set the alarm for 8:40am one morning.

After i took the alarm off in settings>date and time but everymorning the alarm just comes on and wakes me up :) this happens despite i change the alarm time abit later to 9:00am yet still the alarms rings at 8:40am then again at 9:00am again.

Has anyone ever experianced this problem??? and is there any solution for this? preferabally without going through a hard reset??????
