I had the opportunity to test Windows Vista RTM but wasn't able to connect my Qtek 8310 to the new "activeSync" (WMDC). it just doesn't detect it. I also try WMDC beta 3 available on microsoft website, but no luck either.

Anyone's having to the same problem ?

Have you installed OneCare 1.5 Beta? There is an issue with the OneCare firewall and Mobile Device Center. Try to disable the firewall and see if that helps.

Mine works with the Advanced USB option switched off.

Start, settings, connections tab, USB TO PC

This uses a standard USB connection instead of an RNDIS IP connection.

You are right! Disabling the OneCare 1.5 Beta firewall and then connecting my device, worked! Im hoping tis problem will get fix soon.
