any new news on line2 with the M3100

i know it seems quite a while ago, the first posting for the line 2 issue on the M3100 was mentioned, has anyone made any headway or learnt of a possible solution or atleast partial functionality would help???

I haven't got an answer I'm afraid but am in the same position and would really welcome any news of how to get Line 2 enabled.
