what file do txt ringtones need to be for c550?

does anybody know the exact file format an limit of size for text ringtones for the c550

or guestimates if thats all you know but please states whether your certain about it or not

They need to be PCM-format wav files.

I'm not aware of any upper limit for size but you have to remember that the phone will play the tone for its full length so you would want to keep them short.

On your PC, go to Start, Programs, Accessories, Entertainment and run Sound Recorder.

Load your wav file then Save As..
