Streaming Radio

Is it possible to listen to (FREE) streaming radio on the vario2 ?

Station like Talksport, Five live, I have tried myself but no success. Got a program called Resco pocket

radio but thats seem to be for USA stations, not sure if it's even live.

Also is there somewhere to watch videos specifically for ppc ?

I've got windows media already pre-installed.

TalkSport does not work with Resco Radio, the file format is incompatible.

From memory Talksport require a Client called Abacast for the PC streaming, I don't think any PPC program will work with that, although I am happy to be proved wrong

If you point your Vario's browser towards http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/pda/wmp.asp , you should be able to listen in to those stations you've mentioned, and many more. When you install the free TCPMP application, you'll also unlock the mp3 streams.

Cheers for that link m8 that work a treat. Not that I haven't tried to look

myself but would you or anybody else happen to know if there is a similar thing for streaming video's as well ?, or anything where I am able to watch video's.

Also has anyone got the direct link to download the correct realplayer file for a windows mobile 5 handset? tried a few places with no joy !

Try http://www.winmobiletech.com/sekalaiset/realplayer.cab.

Not sure if it works on a Smartphone.

If you pop that ad into PIE it'll offer to redirect you to the 'mobile' verion of their site. Search for what you like, click the link, WMP opens and away you go. It uses data like a fish drinks water so watch your costs if not on W&W :)
