Application Unlocking a Samsung SGH i-300

Does anyone know of a generic phone hack or a specific Samsung method to application-unlock the SGH i-300. I think (?) it was application unlocked but having done a hard-reset is now locked. I couldn't however swear that it was unlocked before although I didn't see any opencfNET errors before the hard-reset when I was installing apps.

Again this could have meant I was lucky with the apps I chose, however it seems too coincidental.

No-One replied but with quite a few views of this post I guess some ppl were interested in finding a solution like myself. Fortunately with a few hours reg editing tonight I finally have an application unlocked SGH-i300 :D

It's happily running "gStart" which I've wanted to work for about a month now so I'm pretty pleased.

If anyone wants the solution that worked for me I'll post an informative pictorial reply. :)
