Guest aty Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 Hi all, It's been a long while since I posted a question here, normally i just lurk in the shadows! I have done a search on this and found an answer but it didn't work for my C550. My biggest problem is that when using GPRS with a program like opera mini (which is fantastic btw) I go back to the home page without quitting the program and press the end key to lock the keypad. This also causes the GPRS connection to be closed. I sold my C550 last week and I am looking to a Qtek 8310 or varient, but I would like to know if there is a known solution to keep GPRS on unless I close the connection myself. Thank you

Thank you I have been experiencing the same problem and found a solution to it. There is another way to lock the keypad: if you tap the powerbutton once (don't hold it down, otherwise it'll shut the phone off) the quicklist appears. You can lock the keys by pressing option 4 (lock keys), which will keep the GPRS connection in touch :) Good luck! Edited December 14, 2006 by Boneless
