Guest rivets Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Hi all. is it possible to have the page in "settings, system, memory, running programs" as a main menu item, i'm getting bored wading through the pages just to turn off apps. there seems to be every other option under the sun but no customisable option? regards rivets

Guest mlp Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Isn't one of the hardware menu keys assigned to "Running Programs" on the Today screen? (it is on the Vario II)
Guest mlp Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 go to settings->menus Is 'running programs' in the list?
Guest balzer1 Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 you can assign 'running programs' to one of the wm5 softkeys (default on vario2) but there are also many (free) taskmanagers out there that will do the job well. e.g. magic button.
Guest rivets Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 mlp - thats where i was hoping to find it but its not there, there's not even an option to customise within the list you mention balzer1 - cheers, i'l have a look for magic button i can't find "running programs" in the list to assign to a button either not to worry thanks for all your replies rivets
