Guest scottt Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 (edited) Hi I have just upgraded from a spv m600 to a spv3100 My question is can I have 2 bluetooth devices connected at the same time ? I want to use my gps bluetooth unit and also a bluetooth headset. On my m600 I just used the headphones which suited me, (one earpeice in so I can hear tom tom when the car stero is loud) but the 3100 does not have a headphone jack input (well not one that can be used while charging) and I hate trying to swap things about while driving, so was thinking of getting a bluetooth headset, if it will connect while my gps unit is also connected. Scott I don't know about two bluetooth devices but a solution is to get the adapter from expansys that allows charging and headphones.
Guest jimbouk Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Yes! I use a Jabra BT headset and Copilot's BT GPS receiver and they work fine together. Whilst navigating the sound comes from the M3100's main speaker. If you receive or make a call, the headset works exactly as normal, the navigation continues to work (although the sound is muted).
Guest scottt Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Cheers for that, I did not want to buy a headset and not be able to use it. Now if I can only work out how to shrink my sd card to a micro card.
