who's done it? change spv c600 rom to another rom(better, updated, unlocked) ?

i'm still searching a way to change my spv c600 rom to another that is better, without so many bugs and be unlocked(software and sim),

when i find something good i'l post it here

who's done it please help, i don't have warranty anymore so i'm very open to ideas :)

hey

(first off, im not responsible if you mess up the flash and end up with a paperweight!)

download SPV-Services (i think its over at spv-developers.com)

set CID to i think its 1111111111111111 (its gna be a string of 1's or 0's)

restart phone

flash away! be careful to install a compatible rom! i think the only ones that would be *really* compatible with the c600 is cingulars 2125 rom, which i must admit does look very nice!

Yup, I prefer to use the Imate rom, or the qtek but only because of the pretty boot screen :)

Plus theres no network advertising on the phone and as a result of that there are less programs making the phone run faster!

you can of course, after flashing, set the bootscreen without having to flash the entire phone. or even use my modaco dude bootscreen flasher somewhere in the tornado forum :D

also you don't have to flash the cingular rom. you can flash the SP5, v1240, XDA IQ or 8310 rom and it works fine :)
