Guest tomesy Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Hi there, I've done a quick search but I cant find anything on this. Does anyone know if it's possible to prevent my Vario II from connecting to the internet via Activesync while docked. I have a cradle at work, and basically the firewall is such here that pop3, Today pluggins, etc wont connect. I have web n' walk, so have no problem with it constantly connecting via 3G/GPRS, but I want it in a cradle to get the benifit of it charging, and being able to use True Connect. Any ideas? Thanks........

Sorry - I've obviously not made myself very clear. I want it to connect via GPRS and 3G, at the moment it isn't. It tries to connect via Activesync, but the firewall blocks any server responses. How can I tell the Vario II, when connected to Activesync, so not connect via pass-through, and to connect via GPRS/3G instead?
Guest jimbouk Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 There used to be a setting in activesync 3.x that allowed you to enable or disable the internet passthrough - but I have a feeling it isnt that easy with 4.x
