Guest ccarrara Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Does anyone know what this homescreen plugin is? I found it in the default homescreen, at the bottom, on my Cingular 3125 (StrTrk) smartphone. Can't figure out what it does, nothing changes when I remove it.... ???
Guest jimbouk Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 I would guess it will broadcast the local cell ID, if the network cells are set to do so - an if the right key's in the registry are enabled. In other words, you aren't missing much by it not working.

It is for knowing your current location or the immediate messege send by your network provider...
