Guest mikeeey Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 i think this was talked about before, but i cant find any info on it. can smartphones such as the t-mobile sda or any htc phone use gps via usb gps adapter? if so then what's a program that recognizes the gps adapter thru the usb port?
Guest Confucious Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 AFAIK the answer is No - sorry.
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 It actually depends on the application, for example the Medion MDSP150 aka the Mio 8870 also rebadged as the Sagem myS-7 has a GPS package that comes with a wired GPS. https://www.medionshop.co.uk/ This is an old device now with the 2003 OS so can not justify the cost myself. As standard TomTom for the Smartphone etc are not designed to use a wired GPS.
