Guest tamirtheredlion Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 How do I get my Emulators to work on My T-mobile MDA? This is probally an old topic but I could not find anything that talk about how to setup snes emulator on the T-mobile mda. I manage to download it to my phone. I copied it to my memory card and I run the first one called Pocketsnes and I thought it was going to run perfectly, because I done this on my nokia before and it worked perfectly. So I run it, I move down to the game Zelda link to the past, and it was running but the screen was distorted. I pause the game and it looks fine when its in pause, but I try to run it again and it's still distorted. There was also no sound. So I search on these forums and they said to download these other two emulators by avalon, and to run them in the background. So I download it and move it to my memory card. I see these are emulators themselves. I'm guessing they were using the method that you use when you program and have two compilers to get a certian program to work because one compiler may have something the other one doesn't and may make the other one work. I load avalons emulator, and I couldn't even load a rom on it. I clicked load rom and it wouldn't even go to the screen to load roms. It didn't really matter to me because I was just trying to get the emulator pocketnes to work for my mda. So I run avalon in the background and pocketsnes, and it still runs the same. What is wrong with it? I'm not new to using emulators, and I got my mda at the begging of november. What do I need to do, just to get it to run. Also, is there a way to play emulators without overclocking my phone and when you over clock your phone can a hardreset fix it? How would I over clock my phone if I were to do that, and will it affect any other applications such as the speed of my mp3's playing?

It can effect the framerate of video and make it look much better. it wont do anything to audio and mp3's. any other questions?

It runs the game and the screen isn't distorted. I even got it to play sound even though its crappy. But Now it plays the games with the screen upside down. This wouldn't be much of a issue if I cold actually manuver my fingers to press certains buttons but It's hard to do simple things. For instance. When I am playing mario. If I hold y and run, it would be hard for me to press a and jump without pressing another button or key. Any way hte main issue is why is my screen upside down. I still don't know who your talking about with master all, I went on google and searched it, but I am working with Avalon. I used to have the regualr pocketnes with the pcketnes logo that looks like the N64 logo off this website, but when I download the .dll, it messed up and I wasn't going to use it anyway. We'll Anyway, I'm just saying all that to say,how do I fix the screen and make it tur nthe other way. I am on a T-mobile MDA. It slides open and I want it to be able to play the side as it slides open. Will have to switch emulators and if so which one.
