Guest sporkguy Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Nice idea but I don't think its compatible with Safari :/
Guest pd.ryder Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Would this sit where my Google Toolbar sits, or as well as...?
Guest sporkguy Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Would this sit where my Google Toolbar sits, or as well as...? One assumes it sits where you want it to, in addition to your existing toolbars.. thats the beauty (hah) of modern versions of IE, you can have as many toolbars as you want (or so I'm aware, not been a fulltime PC user for a year). edit: just noticed I've passed paul on the top posters list :)
Guest pd.ryder Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 He'll just reset your post count :)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Well, the MoDaCo toolbar has a Google search function, so it could replace your Google Toolbar (it also searches MoDaCo of course). The question was... would a Mobiholics version be welcomed? Maybe a combined Mobiholics / MoDaCo version? P PS Need to get posting methinks :)
Guest pd.ryder Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 A 'combo version' might just tempt me to replace my Google version, especially if it includes a Google search option. Just thinking about which bits of the Google one I'd miss: Popup blocker Google Earth AutoLink AutoFill Could these be incoporated?
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 - Popup Blocker can be incorporated. - What does the Google Earth link do? Just run Google Earth? - What are autolink and autofill? P
Guest pd.ryder Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 - What does the Google Earth link do? Just run Google Earth? - What are autolink and autofill? Google Earth - yup, you guessed it. AutoFill - automatic form filling app: fill it up with personal data which may be required on web forms. Can include Debit & Credit card details held back by a password to speed up online purchases. Webforms turn yellow in areas where AutoFill has data it can add, then just click on the Toolbar. AutoLink - finds addresses on webpages and plots them on a map (choice of map providers such as GoogleMap etc.)
