there's an article over on the Guardian on T-mob slashing the cost of calling from Abroad.

It appears this could lead to saving 45% on what it currently costs :)

This is just what the mobile industry in the UK has needed for a VERY long time.

Roaming charges are still criminally high, and with TMob making the first move, this should open up the rest of the market to lower roaming costs.

I really hope some greedy CEO doesn't suddenly realise how much money they *could* be raking in. Sporky's right - this is just what the industry has been crying out for for a very long time :)
