I suspect O may have clogged up their SMS servers with these bloody world cup news texts they keep sending out (I don't even want them!), which is holding up texts I'm actually paying for. Anyone else got the same prob?

I rang O about them, insiting I wasn't gonna be paying for them and the chap at OCS denied all knowledge!! I have got the World Cup package for ?6 so I guess it must be to do with that. I haven't noticed any particular slowing of the SMS service tho. Mind you, Msg Rcvd acknowledgements seem to be taking a few seconds longer, but nothing to be moaning about...
Guest confucious Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 A few years ago a mate and I both got Orange phones, mine contract, his PAYG and texts took up to 3 days to get through! One reason my friend will never use Orange again! Never had a problem with texts on any other network.
