Guest simon11 Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 I have a c600 and activesync 4.2. I can't get it to connect properly. The device is seen and a window pops up receiving settings but it stays on this. Any help please.? I was using bluetooth but I can't get the dongle to be seen by the software since I re-formatted. I had a job last time.
Guest simon11 Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 (edited) I have a c600 and activesync 4.2. I can't get it to connect properly. I had a job last time. I find that my E200 connects ok. So it looks like activesync doesn't play with the c600. Has anybody got activesync working with a c6oo? Edited December 1, 2006 by simon11
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 I was going to start with suggesting you switch your firewall off but I'm not sure that will explain why your E200 connects and not your C600. I gave up using BT sync at home as there is a clash with AOL's browser and I got into a mess with BT headphones. Oh, it was awful :) I'm using ActiveSync 4.2 with my C600 so I would recommend deleting all partnerships, uninstalling AS, rebooting PC, do a file search and delete everything with ActiveSync in the name (uninstall isn't 100%), reboot PC again, reboot phone, pray to your god, start again from scratch.

Thanks for the reply. I have found that it is sygate firewall causing the problem. There is a registry solution for it for some c600s but it doesn't work on mine. Probably because it has the latest version of software. http://www.spv-developers.com/forum/archiv...php?t-1456.html
