Guest stevescotia Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 Hello. I'm completely new to Windows Mobile, having had Symbian based phones before. I've now got an iMate SPL running WM5 for Smartphones. I am trying to move some of my text messages to a new folder so that they are not cluttering up my inbox. I only seem to have the option to move to deleted, drafts, inbox, outbox and sent. Is there any way of creating a new folder here? I have tried doing it via my pc as well, exploring the phone via activesync but, as I thought, they don't seem to be standard folders anywhere. I even thought storing them on my pc would be sufficient at a push but activesync doesn't appear to touch text messages :) Thanks for any suggestions, Steve
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Activesync will not do what you want but applications like Jeyo Mobile Extender can assist with transfering messages onto the PC etc. http://www.jeyo.com/extender/features.asp
