Upcoming Smartphones

Ok Ladies and Mentlegent,

I currently have the O C600, and love it, but my contract ends shortly and the phone is getting tired. It keeps going into Flight Mode on its own, or looking OK, but no one can get me, they just get answerphone.

I have read a lot about the MTeoR, and its problems, if only it have 3G calling and WiFi.

Do you guys know of any candy bar style Smartphones that are to be released shortly?, with 3G, Video calling, WiFi and MS operating system. I do not mean PDA Phones (got Vario) they are too big.

I would idealy like to move over to TMobile WnW, but I am prepared to look at sim free if its right.

Any Idea's?

There are some rumblings of the o2 XDA Graphite floating about..

not 3G but there is WiFi and a decent 416MHz processor.. Google should help ya!

I'm in the same boat as you - looking to upgrade from my SP5, as my contract runs out at the end of the month...

WiFi is a must, 3G not so important...

Might get a PDA style phone - the Asus P535 looks amazing, but I'm sure it will be pricy. Also not out till early 07 I see...

I don't think there is really anything strong enough to be called an upgrade at the moment unless you want to change style and go for a PocketPC intead with the likes of the Hermes.

The Graphite has some interesting specs but no release date could mean that either it's a long way off or it may never get off the ground.

Battery life would be interesting for such a cpu in a Smartphone.

I have been waiting to hear more about this but nothing seems to have happened (unless i missed it).

The phone looks great, 2mp camera with flash (do any other smartphones even have a flash?), loads of memory (8gb i think?), AND NO JOYSTICK!!! lets be honest the joysticks work for about 3-4 months before they stop wotking properly and really start to annoy you.

Anyway, if anyone knows any more about when/if this is coming out please let us know!

Amazingly, since my contract is about to end, the C600 has started to play up! This happens every year around the time of contract end. Not that I am into conspiricy theories........ but....... you know what I am infering.

yea i really want a graphite, i wonder if htc will make it too and itl be in the US? i sure hope it will be
