Guest jwocky Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 I'd like to purchase a Samsung Blackjack, but my firm's IT department will not set it up for me to directly receive/send my work e-mails using push. My only alternative I think is to send/receive e-mails by accessing Outlook Web Access (which my firm has set up for us to check our e-mails via the web). Are there any applications for the Blackjack/Windows Mobile 5.0 that will allow me to do this? I don't think any of the built-in software that comes with the Blackjack allows this. I know that for example, Palm OS has the Chatter program that will achieve this. Is there anything for WM 5.0 that's similar? Thanks very much for any advice you can provide.
Guest scottb Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Outlook Web Access doesn't require a client application, only a browser. I don't know if Pocket IE can handle it, but if your company has OMA (Outlook Mobile Access) set up, you should be fine.
Guest monkeygadge Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Try looking at www.4smartphone.net It may be able to help you? :)

Guest jimbouk Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 As long as you have OWA access, you can view OWA in PIE. Its not small browser friendly but it does work. As its framed, you can click on the frame with your new emails and select that frame as full screen.
