Hi again all

A little waffle first

Question at the end if you can help

After a lot of pondering I decided I couldn’t justify buying a Vario 2

So had a look around and ended up buying the ubiquio 501. After reading some reports including Paul’s which sounded great.

While waiting for the 501 I had another look on the expansys web site where I found a discussion group of people that owned the phone .They ripped it to bits saying it was slow and unstable but by this time my money was spent.

The first thing I did was to update the rom and get it all working.

I have to say I’m very pleased with the 501 it seems to be working great apart from (now to the question)

I'm having the same problem I had with my c550 I can’t get on the internet.

I have been told in this forum that Virgin mobile (my operator) don’t have full internet only wap but I cant even get that working

I tried phoning them but they did not know where to put the settings and suggested I try looking online (great help that is)

Maybe I just don't know where to put the settings or don't understand some of the terminology

Could anyone please help as im at my wits end including the c550 I have been trying to get online for about 4 weeks and still haven’t managed it
