getting a new contract phone?

I want to upgrade to the HTC P3600 and I am currently with Vodafone.

I can only find it at expansys at the moment but the best deal is again with Vodafone. The catch is that if I get it as an upgrade I only get £80 off the RRP. So the best bet is to leave Voda, get a pac code and start fresh to get the best deal but I can't use the PAC code to start again with Voda :)

This means either going to a worse tarriff on 02, loosing my phone number or getting stung for the upgrade :D

Anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone know anywhere other than expansys where you can get the HTC P3600?

Get a payg SIM - port your number to that, then port back to the voda contract.
