Files from qtek 8310 > pc

ive just took pictures (camera) on my qtek 8310, and im trying to transfer them to my desktop.

The progress bar completes but the image dont transfer to my pc, any help???? pleaaaaaase!!

This might be a shot in the dark, but have you tried to disable "File Transfer Conversion" in ActiveSync?

The pictures might still be loaded into the picture viewer application. Try rebooting the phone before you do the transfer.

nope, it isnt open on my phone, i even resetted my phone. It transfers of my mobile, but it dont appear where i transfered it to on my pc e.g to my desktop ....helpppppppppppp! pleaseeeeeeeeee!

When the phone is connected, go to ActiveSync's Tools, Advanced Tools

Nope none of that worked...

but i worked out a way to fix it, and It workd :)

Accessing files on your mobile trough windows sucks. Get TotalCommander and the wince plugin for TC. Now you will be able to browse trough the files on your phone in a user friendly way. Who uses that stupid "conversion"-crap anyway? I perfectly able to decide how the files should be on the phone myself thank you! :)

Now you can copy files to and from your phone. The newest beta version of TC even allows you to copy files from inside archives to your phone, a feature 6.x lacked (you had extract the file first! :D)
