WMP Freezes on SMT5600

I just recently bought a 2gb mini for my SMT5600 and now have a problem when I play my mp3 files on the windows media player. After 2 or 3 songs the player will freeze and none of the keys will work (have to remove battery to get it to restart). This is the first time I have tried using a mini card in my phone, I just hope it's not the card. Any ideas? Thanks.
