Guest enzo2025 Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 Hi i've got a T-Mobile SDA, or Qtek 8300 or whatever... i got it with T9 in English, and, as i am from Spain, i wanted it in Spanish.. The thing is i got a T9SpanishLdb.dll i copied in the Windows Folder i modified this registry Value, in order to see if i could get a Spanish T9: FROM: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\T9 Input Method\LDBs Value: 0409 Value data: T9EnglishLdb.dll TO: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\T9 Input Method\LDBs Value: 0409 Value data: T9SpanishLdb.dll But what i got is that when in text mode...i cannot write anything, it makes a sound, but it doesn't write, only numbers... as i can't write, i can't modify back the Value Data... PLEASE, HELP !!! If you've got a registry backup, a program to control the phone from the computer to write and undo the change, or an idea on how to solve this problem...PLEASEEEEE THANKS !!
Guest enzo2025 Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 ok, i got it back.. I've just installed Smartione, and changed the entry... By the way, how do i change the T9 Languaje, and which files do i need? (I only got T9spanishdbl.dll) THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest notaliberal Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 ever figure this out? I think you just needed to change the 0409 (which is for English) to whatever the code is for Spanish. Here's the different Spanish ones available: '040a' => 'Spanish (Traditional Sort)', '080a' => 'Spanish (Mexican)', '0c0a' => 'Spanish (Modern Sort)', '100a' => 'Spanish (Guatemala)', '140a' => 'Spanish (Costa Rica)', '180a' => 'Spanish (Panama)', '1c0a' => 'Spanish (Dominican Republic)', '200a' => 'Spanish (Venezuela)', '240a' => 'Spanish (Colombia)', '280a' => 'Spanish (Peru)', '2c0a' => 'Spanish (Argentina)', '300a' => 'Spanish (Ecuador)', '340a' => 'Spanish (Chile)', '380a' => 'Spanish (Uruguay)', '3c0a' => 'Spanish (Paraguay)', '400a' => 'Spanish (Bolivia)', '440a' => 'Spanish (El Salvador)', '480a' => 'Spanish (Honduras)', '4c0a' => 'Spanish (Nicaragua)', '500a' => 'Spanish (Puerto Rico)', Good luck,
