Guest Dr Who Posted December 14, 2006 Report Posted December 14, 2006 OK, with this Test being in Perth I could actually listen to the audio stream from the BBC on my commute. If it worked. I keep getting referred to the compatibility page. One would think it SHOULD work surely? I could set it up to stream via Orb but it seems a long way round. I was using PIE, clicked on the link and WMP did not open. I tried copying the URL from PIE but WMP does not seem to allow pasting into the URL bar, which is a well thought out feature. Anyone got this working?

P Beautiful, it works. Is there any way to bookmark this in WMP? I think I must be thick 'cos I can't see any way of adding it to my library.

Guest r3m0t3 Posted December 14, 2006 Report Posted December 14, 2006 Hello! I am an avid listener of the BBC radio programmes. I have an Orange SPV M3100 with WMP and Real Player Mobile installed. I am connecting via WiFi from many locations including my home. The only live feed that works all the time is the BBC World Service. When I try BBC Radio 4, Radio 3 or any of the recorded shows like File on 4 and From Our Own Correspondent, both the WMP and Real Player fail many times for at least 10 minutes of opening the link manually. Finally they connect but after trying opening the link about 20 times. It's all random, I could not find a pattern in this weird behaviour. As I said, both WMP and Real Player links do the same thing. I even hard reset my ppc. These links work perfectly on my laptop connected to the same WiFi connection that the ppc uses. Can anyone help me? Am I the only one who encounters this strange problem? Thanks!

Guest randomelements Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 And after all that we're going to get hammered again anyway :)
Guest Dr Who Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 And after all that we're going to get hammered again anyway :) I could weep. Still, I am backing Monty to run through the remaining Aus batsmen by lunchtime tomorrow and then Alistair Cook and Strauss to run through the 200 or so needed to win by close of play.
Guest pd.ryder Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I know this topic is a little old now but try http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/pda/ directly on the moby and search for any UK & Ireland radio station on the web. :)
