Urgent help needed!

Hi all, I need some help/advise, I have a Qtek8100 and I'm going abroad in about 2 days. My question is: Why can't I use my spv normaly without a simcard? This, because I don't need the simcard, its not going to work in another country and 8 hours in the plane is very boring, so I need to listen/watch/play it while I'm traveling.

So annyone have a solution, please tell me.

You can use the phone without a SIM card loaded. Try to switch to Airplane Mode (Radio Off), take out the card then power on device. Don't know if it would work on your phone, it works on 2002 units. :)

Works on all Smartphone devices :)

Using the phone on the plane may not be allowed, you would need to ask the cabin staff first and showing them that there is not SIM may not make a difference.
