Guest Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 (edited) Don't know what happened in the end - but I can now connect with my local wifi network. I recently had to replace my Hermes (an Orange branded M3100) because of a problem with the screen. Upon recieving the replacement I configured it to connect to my home wifi network through a Netgear WPN824 router. I recently tried to access the internet via IE Mobile only to get an odd messaging telling me that IE could not connect using the connection and I should go to settings to make a change. :) I know I had switched wifi on. I know I was connected - I also have Skype installed and that connect perfectly well. I know that I have provided full access on my router and via my firewalls to the device. IE Mobile tries to connect via 3G even though I thought I had disabled 3G. Can anyone suggestion anything to force IE mobile to use the wifi connection or else a setting that I should look at? This is my 3rd M3100 the previous 2 connected and worked fine with the internet I'd hate to have to send yet another one back... :D Any advice would be welcome. Edited December 18, 2006 by Guest
