unknown Number on Today Screen

From time to time a unknown number appears on my today screen.

What is it and how can I get rid of it?

I've seen some homescreens that screw up the vm count and show some weird number instead of a 1, could this be that bug?

go to settings->Phone->channels

is it enabled? if so try switching it off
