Changing MRU icon size

Is there a way to make the MRU icon list on top of the default homescreen smaller, like most themes do? I'm ok with the default 2003SE screen, the huge icons I do not like...

They can either be size="16" or size="32" in the XML of the homescreen which you will find in Storage\Application Data\Home :)

Thanks for the reply. I thought so, but there seems to be no XML file for the default theme. I see other XML for different screens I have loade, but none for the windows basic ones.
