Smartphone Application Unlock Guide

Disclaimer: As with all my guides (yes there will be more!), please remember, only YOU can turn your phone into a paperweight. If you follow the instructions here to the letter, then it will work as described. I have done this many times before with complete success so the chances are, if it goes wrong, you’ve done something wrong (nothing personal :)) and I can’t be held responsible for that.

Ok that’s the nasty bit over : )

NOTE: This process will NOT work for the C600 with AKU2 ROM! I am working on a solution for this without going to Orange developers or flashing patched ROMs

1. Download the attached regedit.exe

2. Copy regedit.exe over to your device via active sync to a place where it’s easy to find.

4. Run regedit.exe

5. Navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE--------------->---------------Security----------------->----------------Policies----------------->

>--------------Policies----------------->-----------Then Press Values----------->

6. Now change the following values:

00001001 = 1

00001005 = 40

0000101b = 1

7. Now download the attached SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe

8. With your phone Active Synced to the PC, run SDA_Application_Unlock.exe on your PC

9. Click ‘remove lock’ and it’ll say ‘success please reboot SDA' :D

10. Now restart your phone

11. That’s it :D
