well this is a very noobish question for me to ask, but its cuz ive never been involved in homescreen theme topics on modaco.

first off, how do u install a .xml file? isnt it that u unzip the folder to /applicatioin data/home or something?

second, can u install to the storage card? i only have 2.5mb left on my phone memory and dont wanna put any more on.

thats all,

thanks

Homescreen themes can only be instaled on the phone but if you want to use images only these can be installed on the storage card.

XML files do not get unzipped, normally homescreen themes are in .hme format which need to be installed on the phone.

You can place these anywhere on the device then use the file manager to explore the phone to the location you have placed it and select the file to install.

Yes, you unzip the folder, but not the xml file.

Then you copy the folder contents to your Application Data \Home directory.
