Guest Seraphic Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 evening all. just wondered if anyone has ever been using the 3g unlimited usage for a day thing and been told off by orange for over use even though its unlimited. or using it for their pc? thanks all Dan are you talking about the contract one or the pay as you go one? there are fair usage limits on each plan, for the payg its supposed to be 25mb per day. for the contract one its 1gb a month. i've never exceeded the contract one, but the pay as you go one I used loads (including via pc) and I never got busted.
Guest smith2001 Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 sorry yes i meant the payg 1 and i have used over 25mb in a few days before. now i have a 3g phone i am sure that might get bigger. might try that 7 day trial with onspeed just to see if it works faster and reduces costs.
Guest psionandy Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 I can do some heavy use in a couple of days.. certainly 25mb/3 days doesn't seem unreasonable, I thought that it was GPRS only.. and 3G was specifically excluded.

It's 3G as well now. If you only use the £1 for a day then yes Orange is probably your best bet as you can do the £4 for 4mb, which I use for leaving it on using push mail. If it's costing you £1 a day anyway though if you use a lot of data, then perhaps the T-Mobile PAYG will be better. Still £1 a day, but it has no cap on it, and T-Mobile support HSDPA also. On the Hermes you should get some good speeds.
Guest pob Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 How much is the pay month unlimited bundle?
Guest jimbouk Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 If you are on a eligible PAYM tariff, then its £6.81 plus VAT per month for Orange World Unlimited -which I can confirm allows 3g/gprs/web/wap/email etc etc.

Guest jimbouk Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 I understood that panther and premier tariffs could get it? I didnt have any problems with a) asking for it and :) getting it but this was in September (its just taken three months for the try 3g to end before it started)
