Help Please,

I have SPV M3100 and i need to use this device as modem to get internet on laptop. I've followed the instruction which as provided on manual but the connection does not connect. I can see on the device that it tries to connect but then the connection is dropped with error "Error 619 a coonectio to remote computer could not be established.

619 is *usually* down to network.

Have you added the Extra Initialisation command in the Modem properties?

If you go to Phone and Modem Options in the Contol Panel on your PC, select the HTC USB Modem > Properties > Advanced and add -

at+cdgdont=1,"IP","orangeinternet"

Make sure you are dialing *99#

Username is user, Password is pass

Make sure you start the Wirelss Modem prior to connecting

If all else fails, call 156 from your handset, option 4, option 2 and speak to those guys.
