Guest nk- Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Hi all, I somehow lost my xda mini s software cd a while ago and kind of need it to install all of the drivers on my pc so i can actually connect it to my pc so i can get pics etc off it, but i cant find the cd download equivalent anywhere! Does anyone know if it can be downloaded or is it best ordering another CD from the O2 shop? Thanks all
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 There are not any drivers as such, all you need to do is download Activesync from the Microsoft website. You will be inlikely to get the CD from O2 as it contains Microsoft Outlook which is a licenced piece of software and technically not free.
Guest AlanJC Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 Also, if you desperately need to be able to edit your calendar and contact on your PC, but don't have Outlook anymore, you have 2 more options. 1) Use http://live.mail2web.com and set-up a free account there. Regardless if you use the email or not, it will synchronise all your contacts, and calendar events with their server, so you can edit them online. This will use some data which you will be charged for, but not much. 2) Use FinchSync, which will let you sync with Mozilla based email/contact and calendars. http://www.finchsync.com/ and it's free!
