Guest Prosody Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a way of solving a problem I have... hopefully something short of a hard reset. Basically I recieved a Voicemail recently and as I went to answer it my phone spazzed and I had to reset before listening to it and deleting the message. i clicked Dismiss on the Notification bubble and it just remains. I have softreset and dialled the voicemail line multiple times. I also used check Notifications from scary bear and removed things I thought it might be (like the tmail.exe notification etc) but still no joy. Any suggestions??? :/
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Do you mean the symbol won't go ? Try calling your ansaphone, listening to the message, deleting and before pressing the red button wait for the symbol to clear. The problem is that people tend to hang up before the network tells the phone the message has been read. Which suggests that possibly you could call CS and get them to send a signal to the phone to tell it that the message-count is zeroed... :) ...possibly...
Guest Elwyn 3100 Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Yes, I've found this to be true too. You don't often have to wait for the end of the message to delete it but you do need to delete it. Although this post was made about a fortnight ago now....
Guest jimbouk Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 All of the networks suffer from problems with notification cancellation messages occasionally not getting through. If you get one stuck, simply call yourself, leave a message. Then listen to it and delete it and it will clear the old notification.
Guest bigdan Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 Also, if you are on Orange and you have "Line 2", it could be a message left in your other voicemail box. I tried everything to remove the symbol a while ago then realised it was a message on my line 2!!!
