Poor Camera on 8310

Hi

I have a qtec 8310 and am fairly happy with it. my only major problem with it is the poor camera and lack of flash. I dont know if there is meant to be a flash on the phone, but I def havnt got it working if there is. Even when I take a pic at night under a light indoors all i get is a black screen!!!

I have tried both auto and night settings in the camera but still get a black screen. Can someone tell me if there is a flash on this phone and how i can turn it on if there is. I currently have the rom version 2.0.8.0 - would it be worthwhile updating the rom?

well lets start with the obvious....DO you see one I imagine the answer would be no, how ever the software does allow for a flash to be switched on and off so what we need now is some brilliant guy or gal to invent the mini usb flash to plug into the usb port and flash away when we take pics,,,,you could try flashing an led torch as you snap for now though

i do have to say this though i dont get the black screen unless its reall really dark night club dark I get a reasonable picture in what i call living room dark though
