Active Sync destroys my wireless network!

I have a serious problem with my active sync. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it without any success.

The problem is that when I connect my phone to my laptop it kind of sends out signals to my access point and makes it useless to everybody on the network. The only solution is to restart my computer, otherwise nobody can use the WiFi. Isnt this strange? This happens everytime I connect a smartphone thru active sync and USB.

I use 4.2.0... Has anyone seen this problem before or am I the first?

Have you tried going on the phone

Settings->Connections->USB to PC

and unticking the "Enable advanced Network Functionality" option!
