Guest joeyjoejoe206 Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 ok so my phone was working fine, i had been sending texts then i put it in my pocket. when i pulled it out again the battery light was flashing as normal, so the phone was on but i couldnt get the screen to light up, it remained dark. I pulled the battery out to reset, put it back in and boot up as normal, then i got to the screen asking me for my sim password, but i could not enter the password no buttons i pressed worked. so again i pulled the battery out and this time when i restarted i was met with the odd screen that i have attatched a picture of. This now happens everytime i startup, as of yet i have not reset the phone as there is infomation i would like to keep if possible. does anybody know what this screen means? Also you used to be able to go onto the htc site and enter your s/n to check your warrenty status, can this not be done any more, and why can you not find the c500, qtek 8010 on the product page, i wonder if this is why the site wont recognise my serial number or imei?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 The only option you have is to do a Hard Reset as the phone is now stuck in it's bootloader screen. Unfortunately this will wipe the phone so you will lose any information you have put on it.
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Oh, but everything on your miniSD card will remain intact.
