Guest paulend Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 ive just noticed that when i plug my camera in and go to ia album (full version) there is a high pitch whining noise commin from the phone/camera. hs anyone else got this??
Guest mikey808 Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Not exactly, but if i record video with sound I more often than not get high pitched interference on playback.
Guest HelloDave Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Yup, if you put your ear close to the camera you can hear it squeaking. Not sure why though.
Guest Firaas Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 You often get this on flash cameras - no reason for it to happen on a digital flash-free camera though.
Guest AsherUK Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Yeah, the squeeking noise in a flash camera is generated by the high frequencies in the flash charge circuit, but no reason for that in an SPV camera with no flash. (although you can sometimes hear a high pitched noise from the SPV charger ...yet again due to the high frequencies used by the components). Maybe it's processor signals being picked up by the audio side of the SPV ? ... I had a PC once that used to play different tunes through the speakers depending on which application I was using ! :? (I've tried the camera on both of the SPV's I have here and get a very faint high pitched noise but only noticable with my ear on the camera).
