hello. i have a windows mobile 5 ppc device and have set it up with direct push from my exchange server. i think there was a setting in there to store attachments on the storage card. but is there a way to store everything it syncs with my exchange (messages, attachments) onto the storage card?

i notice that on the device itself, there's a folder called \windows\messaging and in there, there is an attachment folder as well as a bunch of *.mpb files. then on my storage card, i have a folder called \Storage Card\Inbox.mst29829467.2927888769. in that folder there is another folder called Mail Attachments which contains several *.att files. what exactly are these? and whats the difference between whats on the device vs whats on the storage card?

is one my exchange direct pushed emails? and the other my text messages?

Create folders on your Storage Card '\Storage Card\Inbox' and the subfolder '\Attachments'

edit registry

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MAPI]

create these 2 string value

"AttachPath"="\Storage Card\Inbox\Attachments"

"PropertyPath"="\Storage Card\Inbox"

soft reset
