Guest Michael 1999 Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I'd love to be able to use my vario II to remote record on my sky+ box. I've been waiting ages for this and still nothing. Anyone know if sky plan to support pocket PC's any time soon? Also, where is sky+ remote record via sky.com?? This has been 'coming soon' for a very long time and I'm getting impatient!
Guest wills Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I've been waiting for this for ages as well :) . I'm also getting impatient.

Guest jonlad Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Thanks for that. Well hopefully we'll get it some time this year!! You can get it now on sky.com on pc. But on your device may be a bit trickier as sky.com is pretty flash heavy. Jonlad

Jonlad That's not the main problem imo - you can download and install the Flash player for PPC/WM5 easily enough. The problem is that Sky.com is badly coded so that; 1. Even if you have the Flash player installed you still lose valuable screen space in mobile IE with messages warning you to install the Flash player - normally below the clearly working Flash parts of the site!! :D ;) :(

Expect about 0.5MB of data usage each time it loads though. But if you absolutely positively can't afford to miss something then it does work. Edited March 12, 2007 by jonlad

Can I ask which version of Opera you're referring to - the (shackled) free mobile version or the paid for mobile version? Thanks in advance.
