But i think I may have done something wrong .....

I followed your instructions and also these instructions Here

Mine still says "Contacts" (I also assigned it to MSN messenger as per the thread - but it still opens up Calendar).

Can u pls give me more detailed information? Thanks very much.

Is that just power off and power on again?

I know that a hard reset is done by pressing the two hardward buttons and pressing the On button (hold for 1-1.5 seconds) ..... but what exactly is the softreset?
