Guest Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Thank you for your e-mail. At this moment in time, we have no information on plans for a further ROM upgrade unfortunately. We have filed your e-mail, and if / when we have any information, will let you know. Sorry we cannot assist you further, at this moment in time. Kind regards Brian Customer Technical Support O2-UK Nice of them to abandon development for one of their flagship devices isn't it :)
Guest Brins0 Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 That's a bit of a blushing crow isn't it :) Looks like it's going to be upto the custom firmware dudes to prevail now...
Guest chucky.egg Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 The Wizard is getting old now, you can't expect them to support it for ever. If you're having problems I'd suggest the Imate ROMs

If you're having problems I'd suggest the Imate ROMs It's not that old in reality though. I'd expect a good 2 -3 years support and updates. That's not asking too much!

You say that, and if that happened it would be good, but the way everything technological moves along, you can't expect it to happen. Why would they devote time money and people to making things better for a phone which they've stopped making? They have the TytN now and i dare say they've got a few models after that in the pipeline, it's sad but that's the way things go
