Guest jpjof Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 I have an unlocked SPV C550 on O2. When I charge it or sync it to the PC, there's a delay of approx 30 seconds and then it says no SIM card and only then will charge/sync. If I want to make a call etc I have to unplug it and wait until the SIM card is picked up again. This never happened before. Any advice on how to revert it to its normal operation is appreciated. Thanks JP
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Never heard of this problem before, have you tried to manually find the network? My Tesco SIM which is also on O2 has a similar problem where I have to manually force it to see the network from time to time.

Hi, no, it's not that it can't find the network, it's that it says no SIM card at all. It's as if the phone is switching off the card's presence when the usb cable is inserted. thanks JP
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Try removing the SIM card and giving it and the contacts on the phone a clean?
